About Us

I’m Taher. Coach, athlete, and someone who knows what it feels like to start over.
Like many, I pushed hard in my early years: lifting heavy, chasing performance, taking my body for granted. And like many, life caught up: work, responsibilities, injuries, plateaus. Somewhere along the way, the athlete inside went quiet.
At 40, I made a decision. Not to slow down. Not to “accept my age.” But to rebuild: with smarter training, better structure, and a deeper respect for longevity.
Fit For Forty was born from that decision.
Here, we merge performance science with everyday practicality. We train for power, for longevity, for aesthetics—but above all, we train for a higher standard of living. No shortcuts, no gimmicks, no “quick fixes.” Just structured methods, intelligent progression, and sustainable systems that adapt to real life.
Today, I coach athletes in high-demand sports such as American football, martial arts, basketball, field sports, weekend warriors, and everyday men and women who want to feel powerful again.
People who aren’t chasing youth, but chasing capability: strength that lasts, energy that returns, a body that feels like home again.
We train with intention. We move with purpose. We build with discipline.
If you’ve ever thought, “I want to get back to the best version of myself,” you’re already part of this movement.
This brand exists for one reason: To prove that athleticism doesn’t disappear — it evolves when you train for it.
Most people believe aging means settling. We believe it means optimizing.
Our philosophy is simple:
  • You deserve a body that performs, not just looks good.
  • Strength is earned, regardless of age.
  • Power is the key to staying capable for life.
  • Longevity is built through intelligent, repeatable systems.
  • We train for performance because it builds confidence.
  • We train for function because it prevents pain.
  • We train for aesthetics because discipline should be visible.
  • We train for longevity because the goal isn’t 12 weeks, it’s the next 12 years.
Fit For Forty is more than a method. It’s a decision: To age with purpose, not passively. To invest in yourself, not postpone it. To build a body that supports the life you want to live.
If that resonates, you’re exactly where you need to be.
